Role Overview: As a Retail Project Manager, you will provide essential support to the Lead Project Manager while overseeing new store openings, refurbishments, and revamps across SuperValu and Centra stores throughout Northern Ireland. From concept to completion, youll ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. What Youll Be Doing: Manage End-to-End Projects: Support the full lifecycle of retail projects, from planning and budgeting to execution and delivery. Budgeting & Forecasting: Accurately forecast, budget, and manage project expenditure to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Ensure Compliance: Ensure all developments comply with legislative, regulatory, and best practice standards. Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with internal colleagues, including the business development team, to support the development of new sites and store conversions. Cultivate Relationships: Build positive relationships with external clients and project partners, ensuring clear communication and timely updates. Manage Site Activities: Coordinate with Engineers, Architects, and other professionals to ensure smooth on-site operations and the highest standards of execution. Project Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, budgets, and progress reports, ensuring accuracy and transparency. What Were Looking For: Proven Experience: At least 3 years experience in managing Core Construction and Fit-Out Projects (up to £5 million in value), ideally within the retail or construction industry. Design Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD. Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of business objectives with the ability to deliver projects on time and within budget. Organizational Excellence: Exceptional multitasking abilities and attention to detail in managing multiple projects simultaneously. Project Management Tools: Proficiency in MS Project and the Microsoft Office suite. Team Leadership: Experience leading teams, including third-party professionals and suppliers, to deliver innovative, cost-efficient retail stores. Desirable: In-depth knowledge of food retailing operations and industry experience in convenience retail. 3rd Level Education in Construction or the Built Environment.
