About the Role
We are seeking a Marketing Manager to drive local marketing initiatives for our company-owned SuperValu and Centra stores across Northern Ireland, while also playing a key role in the development and delivery of selected Northern Ireland-wide marketing campaigns. You will have the opportunity to shape innovative marketing activity at both a local and regional level, build strong store partnerships, and deliver measurable impact for our brands and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Local and Regional Marketing Campaigns: Develop and execute store-specific marketing plans for company-owned SuperValu and Centra locations, while leading the development and delivery of selected cross-brand marketing campaigns across Northern Ireland.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Store Managers, Regional Operations Managers, and internal teams to understand local needs and ensure that marketing solutions address these needs effectively.
- Creative Development: Collaborate with in-house design teams and external agencies to create engaging marketing materials and campaigns that resonate with local customers.
- Budget & Performance Management: Oversee marketing budgets, ensuring cost-effective spending and tracking campaign performance to optimize future initiatives.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyse campaign outcomes and share key learnings to improve future strategies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Who We're Looking For

Essential Criteria:
- A relevant third-level qualification and 4-5 years of marketing experience, or 5 years of hands-on marketing experience in lieu of formal qualifications.
- Practical experience in developing and delivering marketing campaigns, with a strong understanding of digital marketing and end-to-end campaign management.
- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively to diverse audiences.
- A full driving license and access to a car.
- Competence in Microsoft Office and excellent attention to detail.
- A systematic approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines.
- Passion for developing your career in marketing and a willingness to work cross-departmentally.
Desirable Criteria:
- A third-level qualification in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- CIM or Postgraduate qualification (or in progress).
- Experience in FMCG, B2B, or customer-centric environments, ideally within the food retail sector.
