We are seeking a Warehouse Operative. Location is Parkview, Newry. This is a permanent full-time position. Reporting to the Warehouse and Transport Supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting with all warehouse activity as well as supporting the transport team, ensuring business targets are met.
The main responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Providing an effective, efficient, and flexible service to all suppliers, customers, and colleagues alike, through carrying out all functions relating to the warehouse, including order scheduling and assembly, replenishment, picking, invoicing, stock enquiries, administration, and checking.
- Ensuring accurate checking (both manual and computerized) and other associated procedures relating to goods received and goods dispatched.
- Accurate and efficient picking of orders and completion of paperwork.
- Ensuring incoming and outgoing loads are dealt with efficiently and comply with safety and legal requirements.
- Minimising waste, losses, and damage.
