This role is with Robb Brothers Wine Merchants, part of the Musgrave Group. We are currently recruiting for a full-time HGV Class 2 Driver & Warehouse Operative to join our team here at Robb Brothers Wine Merchants. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate.
The main roles involve:
- Assembling customer orders accurately in a timely manner
- Shrink wrapping each pallet as it's being assembled
- Labeling/identifying each pallet correctly
- Ensuring all work complies with health and safety procedures
- Cleaning up any breakages/damages and reporting to warehouse manager
- Loading van daily with the correct pallets for your run
- Delivering goods in an efficient and courteous manner
- Checking all goods onto customers' premises & completing all relevant paperwork
- Reporting any issues to warehouse manager during deliveries
- Performing daily vehicle inspection checks
- Planning routes efficiently
- Being reliable, polite and friendly, remembering good customer service is vital as the face of the company
Qualifications & Key Skills/Experience
- Essential Maths and English GCSE or equivalent, demonstrating good literacy and numeric skills
- Eligibility to work in UK
- Full UK driving licence
- HGV Class 2 Licence
- 6 months experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Must be able to work in a quick and efficient manner
- Good communication skills
- Good team member with a flexible and can-do attitude
Desirable
- Fork Lift Licence
- Good geographical knowledge
