We are seeking a Driver to join our Robb Brothers Wine Merchants, Licensed Wholesale team. This role is based in Lurgan. We are a dynamic and experienced drinks company with a genuine passion for providing our customers with an incredible range of quality products and top-notch service. We have an extensive Wine portfolio from some of the most prestige wineries across the world. We pride ourselves on our close working relationship with the winery owners to provide the best wines & service to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- To load van daily with the correct pallets for your run
- To clean up any breakages/damages and report to warehouse manager
- To deliver goods in an efficient and courteous manner
- To check all goods onto customers premises & to complete all relevant paperwork
- To report any issues to warehouse manager during runs/deliveries
- Multi-drop within City Centre locations and country wide
- To check and complete all invoices and paperwork on time & in spec
- To check & report loads/products and vehicles for defects
- To build excellent customer relationships
- Vehicles to be maintained in a roadworthy condition with any defects being reported to the supervisor on a daily basis
- To adhere to assigned route schedule
- When needed - to assemble order accurately in a timely manner
- When needed - to shrink wrap each pallet as its being assembled
- When needed - to label/identify each pallet correctly
- Flexibility is required for this role
- To adhere to all Health & Safety legislation
- Ensure route and customer knowledge
Essential:
- HGV Class 2 Licence
- CPC Qualification
- 6 months experience in a warehouse/retail environment
- Good geographical knowledge
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work to set deadlines and to self-motivate
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Excellent customer service skills
- Maths & English GCSE or equivalent, demonstrating good literacy and numeric skills
- Eligibility to work in the UK

- Manual Handling Certification
