We are seeking a Warehouse Operative, the role is full time and permanent based in Dargan Drive, Belfast.

The successful candidate must be flexible to work either of the following shifts:

Chill warehouse:
Sunday to Friday 12-8pm (5 shifts a week, with 2 day break)

Ambient Warehouse:
Monday to Friday – 2pm – 10pm

Role &Responsibilities:
The main responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide an effective, efficient, and flexible service to all suppliers, customers, and colleagues alike.
  • through carrying out all functions relating to the warehouse, including: – order scheduling and assembly, replenishment, picking, stock enquiries, and checking.
  • Ensure accurate checking (manual process) and other associated procedures relating to goods received and goods dispatched.
  • Promote a positive company image through your accuracy, knowledge, and attitude to the job.
  • Accurate and efficient picking of orders and completion of all paperwork.
  • Ensure incoming and outgoing loads are dealt with efficiently and comply to safety and legal requirements.
  • Monitor stock levels.
  • Ensure that all goods are stored under the appropriate conditions.
  • Ensure that all waste, losses, and damage are kept to a minimum.

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • A team player with experience in working to deadlines.
  • Ability to work on their own initiative and organise the shift duties.
  • High level of productivity
  • Good all-round general housekeeping is essential.
  • Must have good numeracy and literacy skillsthis is essential.
  • Previous warehouse picking experience advantageous.
  • Manual Handling training.
  • Forklift truck License (counterbalance & Reach) and PPT would be advantageous, although full training would become available.
  • Maintain good level of punctuality at all times adhering to working time directive.
  • Must be flexible and adaptable.
