Job Overview
As we continue our journey toward becoming Ireland’s most trusted and sustainable business, we have an exciting opportunity for a successful candidate to join our team as a Transport Operational Support.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide transport support to the warehouse and to the transport schedule
- Deal with customer & driver queries
- Undertake other duties within the Transport office / planning function as required
- Organise and manage specific elements of the planning function daily
- Accurate data input for use in compilation of KPI reports
- Fuel Monitoring on an MPG file and/or MCS system
- Management of scheduled maintenance for fleet
- Willingness to substitute for development
- Any other duties as and when required
- Shift work is a requirement with Saturday work included 5 out of 7 on a rotational basis
Key Requirements
- Good geographical knowledge
- Good working knowledge of SCM (or equivalent WMS)
- Good knowledge of transport operations
- Competent in Outlook & Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of warehouse operations
