The Role
The role of a general assistant is to go above and beyond to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers, through merchandising stock and serving the public.
- What you'll be doing
- Serving customers via manned or self-scan checkouts, whilst providing excellent customer service.
- Merchandising, ordering, date checking and rotation of stock in all areas of the store including fresh, ambient, and frozen.
- Adhere to company and health and safety policy and procedures to protect yourself, customers, colleagues, and 3rd parties.
- Ensure a high standard of work in everything you do.
- Stock take preparation and counting, as and when required.

What we're looking for
- No need to worry if you have no previous Deli or retail experience, Full training will be provided.
- We are looking for someone who has a positive attitude, works well as part of a team and is open to learning and expanding on their skill set.
- GCSE Maths and English, Grade C or above (or equivalent) and/or 6 months previous experience gained in retail or customer service role.
- Previous experience of working in a team.
