The National Wool Museum is located in the village of Drefach Felindre, in rural Carmarthenshire, it tells the story of one of the most important industries of Wales through demonstrations of our working machinery and our dedicated textile gallery.

Your role is to interpret and animate the story of the Welsh Woollen Industry to our visitors, providing an excellent standard of visitor experience through demonstrating hand crafts, a good knowledge about the woollen industry and supporting the work of the Craftspersons.

Visitor Experience is part of a team which also comprises Enterprises, Engagement, Events, Learning and Volunteering.

The Visitor Experience team play a key role in how Amgueddfa Cymru warmly welcomes all its visitors.

The team ensure engagement with collections and museums is inviting and inspiring.

They promote the charitable status of Amgueddfa Cymru, generating income by supporting our events, retail, food & beverage offering and encouraging donations, gift aid and Membership.

As a member of the Amgueddfa Cymru team, you will play an important role in delivering our purpose and achieving our vision, ensuring we continue to enrich and inspire current and future generations.
