Are you organised, have excellent customer service skills and ready for a role in a busy team supporting important work that keeps our buildings and estate open? We are looking for a full time Maintenance Assistant to undertake a variety of general maintenance repairs and tasks to ensure the upkeep of Amgueddfa Cymru’s sites.
We’re seeking someone who wants to be part of a committed team that looks after some of Wales’ premier heritage building assets. You would be focused on helping to keep our facilities in as good a condition as possible, to present a safe and pleasant experience for our Visitors and Staff. You will be a key point of contact for contractors accessing the museum to undertake work and need to be escorted at all times.
Based mainly at the Cathays Park & sometimes at St. Fagans site, this role will keep key building structures available for use, carrying out all manner of small maintenance tasks from ensuring roof drainage systems are functioning properly to reacting to clearing drains and everything in-between.
