As Senior Events Manager, you’ll help create experiences that are vibrant, inclusive, and unforgettable, shaping how thousands of people encounter London every day. The Senior Events Manager will oversee both the delivery of outstanding events and the development and growth of a high‑performing team of two Event Managers. You will drive operational excellence, ensuring every event is safe, efficient, and delivers an exceptional guest experience. Partnering with internal teams and external stakeholders, you will ensure seamless event execution while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, compliance, and commercial success.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the planning, delivery, and post‑event evaluation of complex, high‑profile events within the museum.
  • Lead and develop a high‑performing team of two Event Managers, fostering empowerment, coaching and continuous growth.
  • Embed excellent health & safety practices across all events, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to deliver smooth, safe, and commercially successful events.
Qualifications
  • Significant experience delivering complex and high‑profile unique events in a high‑profile public‑facing venue.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of embedding health & safety best practices within a team.
  • Proven experience in leading and developing operational teams with a focus on empowerment and ownership.
  • Ability to create vibrant, inclusive, and unforgettable experiences for diverse audiences.
  • No specific academic qualifications required and previous experience of working in a museum is not required.
