Lost in the Past: Develop and create a new Escape Room programme to commercialise and grow the Museum of Gloucester’s offer. The Museum of Gloucester is seeking to partner with an experienced events specialist(s) to develop and create an all-new Escape Room experience, designed to attract and inspire new audiences. This piece of work is the first step in the development of an updated commercial offer for the Museum across several strands of activity. The appointed specialist will develop a new Escape Room programme that combines immersive storytelling, object-based clues, and puzzles inspired by the city’s heritage. This experienced external specialist will be commissioned to design and deliver a professionally produced experience within the museum’s galleries, introducing a new revenue-generating strand as part of the public programme.
Project scope
- Storyline and narrative design rooted in Gloucester’s heritage and collections
- Puzzle creation using object-based interpretation
- Spatial and technical design for an immersive gallery-based experience
