About Museum of Colour
Museum of Colour CIC (MoC) is a heritage and creativity social enterprise company incubated at People’s Palace Projects (PPP). It is building a digital museum to explore, celebrate and build recognition of the contribution made by people of colour to the nation’s culture, specifically in film, television and the arts, 1766 – 2016 and work with contemporary artists to respond to British history.
About Test Card
Test Card is the history of British television seen through a diverse lens. Forgotten and under–acknowledged people of colour have impacted British heritage through television on and off screen. As the end of the terrestrial era draws close oral histories will be captured before they are lost forever. Test Card will feature a powerful digital exhibition and permanent online resource of television heritage, including 30 designed portraits of people of colour who have impacted the industry.

Person Specification
- Two‑four years of experience
- A focus/interest in historical practice
- Reliable and good communication
- Can work to a deadline
- High level of spoken and written English
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- The ability to work flexibly and prioritise tasks
- The ability to work independently, with a high level of individual responsibility
- Enthusiasm for the activities undertaken by Museum of Colour
