MUSE are seeking a Social Media Assistant to join our Manchester-based team; if you love social media and connecting with people, this could be the job for you!
What you’ll be doing:
- Content
- Create and deliver plans across web and LinkedIn
- Assist the social content lead - planning, shooting and editing social media first, iPhone shot content on campaign shoots
- Work on graphics and use software such as Canva to provide pitch decks for projects
- Manage website and update periodically with new signings
- Reporting
- Update and distribute weekly reporting on our social media platforms and our competitors
- Regular reporting across all our promotions including regular tracking throughout whilst we host competitions simultaneously
- Conduct regular competitor research to ensure MUSE’s social media strategy remains ahead of the competitive set
About you
- Experience at a social platform, PR/content/media agency or brand
- Strong understanding of the nuances of different social platforms and the ways audiences consume content on them
- Good image and short form video editing skills, including how to shoot and edit on TikTok
- Experience in creating social media proposals across BAU and campaigns
- Good analytical understanding to organise and interpret data
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic knowledge of Google Analytics
- Flexible and adaptable to change
- Strong relationship builder with wider teams
- Ability to work under pressure and at a fast pace
- Excellent attention to detail
- Demonstrates a creative flair
- Works to tight deadlines with a can-do attitude
- Willingness to go beyond the call of duty to get the job done
- Strong communicator both internally and externally
