What will you be doing?

You're a savvy social media operator! You love food (not essential)! You're perhaps a content creator! You write well. You want to make a difference! This fun foodie fundraiser needs skills, passion and time! Vital funds raised will help realise many more life‐changing Muscle Dream experiences in the UK for vulnerable children living with Muscular Dystrophy (MD).

You're a self‐starter, a strong communicator, with social media experience. If you love meatballs or not, this is a playful initiative! It's a fundraiser with a simple goal ~ to encourage hotels, restaurants, pubs & contract catering businesses to get behind it and help make it a success!

Whilst this is a short‐term (4 months) project, depending on how it rolls, there may be an opportunity to move the opportunity from a voluntary basis to a paid basis. This will of course be based on results but also whether our values align with yours, whether we fit into your world and vice‐versa... plus as a volunteer, your objectives are being fulfilled and you find your interactions with us rewarding.

With support from MHF's inspiring founder & CEO, you will have full autonomy across our social channels to help make this a success in the 2026/27 period. Some marketing assets are already in place and we're delighted to say that several businesses have already committed to support – see meatballs4md.org.

Help us exploit social media via posts that cut through & drive up engagement. You'll start in the New Year (or sooner if you can). We believe this role will lend itself brilliantly to someone who may not only be a bit of a foodie but who can also see the opportunity and CAN MAKE THINGS HAPPEN – it will be a fun short‐term project, with tons and tons of flexibility.

We'll support you to ensure that this fundraiser is a tasty success! Got a creative flair? Got great digital skills? Know how to leverage Instagram, Facebook, TikTok & LinkedIn? If so, we so want to hear from you.

Watch those fun foodie TV shows? Maybe you love the world of hospitality? Maybe this opportunity will enable you to deepen your understanding & broaden your perspectives. Maybe, just maybe, you know people or organisations that might be interested in partnering with us? Either way, reach out & let's talk!
