MUSC Health is looking for a dedicated Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to join our team and support athletes in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Working with high school students, you will be at the forefront of delivering high-quality sports medicine care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate & Treat: Assess, plan, and implement athletic training programs, offering hands-on rehabilitation and recovery strategies to athletes.
- Comprehensive Documentation: Record athletic training encounters in the electronic system promptly (within 24 hours).
- Collaborate: Work closely with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to ensure top-tier care for athletes.
- Effective Communication: Build strong relationships with coaches, Athletic Directors, student-athletes, and parents, creating trust through excellent communication and care coordination.
- Event Coverage: Cross-coverage at affiliate organizations and community sporting events, ensuring athletes are well cared for during competitions.
- Organizational Support: Help maintain budgets, inventory, and ensure smooth operation by assisting with clerical tasks and attending staff meetings.
What Weβre Looking For:
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional and effective communication with athletes, parents, coaches, and health teams.
- Proactive and self-driven, with a focus on patient care and recovery.
- Ability to adapt and manage cross-coverage and community sporting events.
Education: Graduate from an accredited college with a BS/BA (Master's in Athletic Training is preferred).
Certification/Licensure: National Athletic Trainers Association Certification, Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers (BOC), South Carolina Athletic Trainer certification (DHEC) is required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) with the American Heart Association (AHA) is required before seeing students.
