Located in one of the Midlands' fastest growing communities, MUSC Health Primary Care - Elgin provides comprehensive outpatient primary care services focused on preventive care, chronic disease management, and improving long term health outcomes across the lifespan. Required Qualifications:
- Advanced Practice Provider: Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Current South Carolina licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- DEA and applicable state prescribing credentials prior to start date
- Family medicine or primary care experience preferred
- Passion for delivering patient-centered, evidence-based care
- Commitment to quality improvement, teamwork, and clinical excellence
Position Highlights:
- Provide comprehensive primary care services for patients across the lifespan
- Perform preventive health assessments, annual wellness visits, and chronic disease management
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Conduct comprehensive histories and physical examinations
- Order, interpret, and utilize laboratory and diagnostic testing to guide treatment plans
- Provide patient education focused on preventive care and healthy lifestyle management
- Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare professionals as needed
- Document and bill for direct patient care services
