The Emergency Room Technician provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room to patients of all ages.
Minimum Education: A high school diploma or GED required. At least one year of patient care experience in a health care facility or as CNA is required.
Required Licensure, Certifications, and Registrations: Currently registered as a Certified Nurse Assistant in South Carolina, or have an Emergency Medical Tech Certification for South Carolina, and Basic Life Support (BLS) with the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
