Job title: Senior Consultant Airspace Location: London This position will require full-time on-site presence in office. Responsibilities Lead airspace and flight procedure design projects, including integration of UAS in various airspaces, implementation of UTM, and development of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM). Adapt ICAO FPD requirements to new entrants (UAS, HAPS, eVTOL) and develop new criteria and airspace design proposals for safe and efficient urban and controlled airspace integration. Provide on-the-job FPD teaching and supervise the work of junior designers. Support the FPD certification process and subsequent supervision by the competent authority. Maintain and ensure compliance with internal procedures related to our FPD service. Support the global consulting team in complex airspace policy and regulatory projects. Contribute to complex technical and regulatory aspects of nationwide airspace modernisation programs, providing expert advice on a wide range of airspace/ATM‑related topics. Act as a client-side advisor to regulatory authorities and air navigation service providers on airspace topics, maintaining integrity and independence. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in engineering, aviation, or a related technical field. At least 10 years of relevant experience, particularly with FPD and related implementation projects, and established relationships with air navigation service providers and aeronautical authorities. Certified in Flight Procedure Design, under EASA regulation. Preferred Skills Mastery of FPD software/hardware. Mastery of ICAO PBN, PANS‑OPS concepts, and AIS‑related topics. Familiar with ICAO, EASA and Eurocontrol documentation on ATM and UAS/UTM. Familiar with EU regulations regarding Air Traffic Services (ATS) and Airspace Management Services (ASM). Excellent time management, self‑discipline, and communication abilities. English and Spanish language skills at professional level.
