Murzilli Consulting is a digital aviation consultancy firm founded in 2020 by Lorenzo Murzilli and based in Switzerland, with further subsidiaries in Germany, Spain, Hungary, and the United Kingdom. Our organisation is committed to helping clients succeed with their regulation and compliance strategies. We do this by acting as a digital outsourced regulatory department and working with clients to support them in establishing a high-performing internal regulatory function.

Our goal is to assist clients in achieving success with their regulation and compliance strategies and implementations. We act as a digital outsourced regulatory department, helping clients establish effective internal regulatory functions. Our focus is on emerging technologies in crewed and uncrewed aviation, advanced air mobility, and U-space.

We offer governments and private enterprises the opportunity to establish high-performing internal regulatory functions, along with services such as regulatory strategies, UAS and USSP certification, design verification, SORA approvals, and CE marking. Our customer base includes leading drone organizations who trust in our expertise.

Working hours: full-time / 40 hours per week

Work model (weekly): 4 days office presence during probation, possible to change to 3 days after probation.

Your Responsibilities

  • Support our global consulting team in complex airspace policy and regulatory projects;
  • Engage in the complex technical and regulatory aspects of UTM/U-space programs, providing expert advice on a wide variety of subjects including (but not limited to):
    • EASA U-space regulatory frameworks,
    • UTM architectures, services, and capabilities,
    • ATM–UTM integration,
    • SWIM and data exchange concepts,
    • International frameworks (FAA, ICAO) and internationally recognised standards;
  • Support complex airspace change efforts to accommodate and integrate new entrants (drones, eVTOL and HAPS);
  • Work as client-side advisor to regulatory authorities and ANSPs on a wide variety of airspace and UTM topics, maintaining a high level of integrity and independence;
  • Contribute to the design of airspace structures and operational concepts for UTM deployment.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, aviation, IT, or a related technical field.
  • At least 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Understanding of UAS technologies and capabilities.
  • Experience with UTM/U-space concepts, architectures and associated regulatory framework.
  • Understanding of ATM systems and airspace management principles.
  • English language at professional level, additional language skills in Spanish, German, Arabic would be a plus.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiar with EU U-space regulation and international UTM frameworks;
  • Experience in large-scale aviation or airspace modernisation programs;
  • Excellent time management skills, self-discipline, and communication abilities.
