My client is a multi-discipline engineering group who are continuing to grow. Due to their ongoing success, they have opportunities for experienced air conditioning engineers to join their team. The role will involve providing planned maintenance and reactive maintenance to one of their high-profile clients throughout the M62 corridor region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend client premises to complete planned maintenance
- Work as part of an out of hours call-out team on an agreed rota
- Identifying and rectifying faults
- Collection of key data and ensuring that it is captured within their job report
- Be able to work efficiently and effectively as part of a team
- Communicate effectively with all parties
Person Specification:
- Hold a full driving license
- Proven experience in air conditioning installation, maintenance, and repair
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems
- Familiarity with reading schematics and technical drawings related to HVAC systems
- Excellent leadership skills with experience in guiding teams or mentoring junior staff
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Level 3 Diploma in Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Systems
- Hold a valid CSCS card
- Experience in a similar role
- Have strong planning, organisation, and monitoring abilities
- Have excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels
- Be computer literate
- Willingness to continue training and development
