Our client is a multi-discipline engineering group who are continuing to grow organically and through acquisition. Due to their ongoing growth and exciting plans for the future, they have an opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join their busy projects department on a part-time basis. This can be 3 full days or 4/5 days with reduced hours. They are flexible to work around personal commitments.
They are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrator to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of their office by providing comprehensive administrative support. This position requires proficiency in various administration tasks, excellent communication skills, and a strong ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Role purpose: You will play a crucial role in supporting the organisation's commitment to maintaining high standards by maintaining detailed and accurate records and reports, assisting the helpdesk and projects team to ensure the operations run smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Documentation Management: Maintain and update documentation accurately.
- Administration: Effective administration of job requests and all relevant documents relating to work completed ensuring compliance guidelines are met.
- Scheduling and assignment of jobs to Engineers - ensuring Engineers and clients are fully informed and equipped.
- Support Audits: Assist in internal and external audits, preparing necessary documentation.
- Communication: Liaise with various departments effectively.
Skills / experience:
- Proven experience in an administrative or support role.
- Proficient in using Microsoft systems for daily operations.
- Strong administration skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
