The Electrical Projects Manager will join an established Group of Companies with a strong Electrical Division and assist with their sales growth by identifying and prioritising new opportunities whilst maintaining existing key customers. The role will involve a variety of work within both the commercial and industrial sectors for a range of customers. You should be able to demonstrate management of external and internal teams including planning, programming, and estimating skills.
This is a demanding role; therefore, the successful candidate will need to be bright, energetic, hardworking, be self-motivated, dedicated, and able to take the initiative and work autonomously.
Key responsibilities would include:- Develop strong relationships with key customers.
- Manage multiple projects in a timely and efficient manner.
- Take the initial enquiry from the customer, producing a quotation for the project, liaising with other team members and departments within our group.
- Produce risk assessments/method statements and manage H&S on projects.
- Allocate the workload accordingly, meeting customer deadlines and maintaining standards, and quality of workmanship at all times.
The successful candidate will need to have formal electrical qualifications, possess financial awareness and budget management, deliver strong customer service as well as demonstrating good delegation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. A passion and commitment to the role and the work the Group undertakes is vital, with loyalty and integrity essential characteristics.
