Murton Park is looking for a Term Time Living History Interpreter
The role:
- To deliver all aspects of our living history learning programme on site. Working individually, remotely or as part of a team, to act as support or lead character.
- To travel to schools as part of our in-school learning programme and deliver outreach education as a character in the classroom.
- Actively develop and maintain a good level of appropriate subject knowledge. Care for and maintain props, materials and costumes to ensure a high standard of presentation.
- High level of record keeping required.
- To undertake the delivery of the museum learning and engagement programme for the public and museum visitors.
The person:
- Willingness to work remotely
- Educated to graduate/postgraduate/teaching qualification
- Good level of subject knowledge
- Enhanced DBS Disclosure
- Uphold staff policies
- A team player with a can-do attitude
Rate of pay: Β£12.35/hr
