Barista/Food Assistant Wanted

We’re looking for a friendly, reliable Barista/Food Assistant to join our busy coffee shop team.
\n
What you’ll be doing:
\n
Preparing Coffee and Teas
\n
Preparing and serving fresh food to a high standard.
\n
Assisting with food preparation and maintaining excellent food hygiene standards.
\n
Providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.
\n
Operating the till confidently and accurately, and handling cash/card payments.
\n
Keeping the coffee shop clean, organised, and well-stocked.
\n
Supporting the team wherever needed.
\n
Essential requirements:
\n
Previous experience working in a coffee shop, café, or similar fast-paced hospitality
\n
Previous experience using a till and handling customer transactions.
\n
Excellent customer service skills.
\n
A positive attitude and the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
\n
Reliability, punctuality, and a strong team ethic.
\n
Flexibility to work shifts across all 7 days of the week, including weekends, as
\n
Required by the rota.
\n
Desirable experience:
\n
Previous barista training or coffee-making experience.
\n
Experience using a Merrychef oven.
\n
Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
\n
