Employment Type: Temporary Part Time - April 2026 until February 2027

Position Classification: Occupational Therapist Level 3

Remuneration: $58.95 - $60.86 per hour + superannuation + salary packaging

Hours Per Week: 24

Location: Wingham Rehabilitation Hospital

This is a Level 3 position. However, if there are no appropriate Level 3 applicants, applications from Level 1 and 2 will be considered. The selection criteria reflects the requirements for a Level 3 applicant. Responses from Level 1 or 2 applicants need to demonstrate their level of competence with regard to the same criteria and their ability to work towards Level 3.

You’ll work alongside a collaborative team of nurses, doctors, allied health professionals, HealthShare and security staff, all committed to delivering planned and meaningful rehabilitation outcomes.

About The Role:

As the Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist, you’ll be based at Wingham Community Hospital, working within a highly supportive multidisciplinary team. The position is job-shared with an experienced Occupational Therapist, making it an ideal opportunity to:

  • A two-day structured orientation (with extra days available if required)

Requirements:

Must hold a bachelor or post graduate degree in Occupational Therapy with current general registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
