About The Service
This position is based at Wallsend Health Campus and works closely as part of the Maintenance Services team, supporting Oral Health facilities across the region. The team plays a critical role in ensuring dental clinics remain safe, functional, and operational to support high-quality patient care. The workplace culture is collaborative, practical, and service-focused, with strong working relationships between maintenance staff, oral health clinicians, contractors, and suppliers.
About The Role
The Technical Officer Level 2 provides hands-on technical and maintenance support across multiple dental clinics. Most days involve travelling to various clinic locations using a supplied fleet vehicle to attend breakdowns and undertake preventative maintenance activities. The role also includes ordering spare parts, liaising with suppliers, and working collaboratively with oral health staff, contractors, and maintenance colleagues to ensure timely and effective service delivery. This is a varied and mobile role, ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, autonomy, and working across different sites.
