Join our small, dynamic multidisciplinary team providing a district-wide service across HNELHD. Based at our Wallsend campus, this position offers ease of access and free parking, with the opportunity to work across a diverse and rewarding clinical landscape.

About The Role

This unique position supports the Voluntary Assisted Dying (VAD) service across the district. The role is varied and impactful, with responsibilities including:

  • Dispensing and managing VAD medications
  • Coordinating patient care across acute and community settings
  • Travelling across the district to support patients in hospital, at home, or in residential aged care
  • Providing education to patients, carers, facilities, and healthcare services
  • Collaborating with public and private hospitals, aged care facilities, private providers, and like services across NSW
