Located at Tamworth Hospital, the Outpatient Centre provides essential specialist services to the Tamworth and surrounding communities. As a valued member of our Administration team, you will contribute to creating a smooth, professional and positive experience for patients referred to our range of outpatient specialties. You will join a collaborative team of 12 staff who work together in a supportive, well-organised and patient-focused environment.
About The Role
This role provides front-line and administrative support within the Outpatient Centre.
Your Responsibilities
- Welcoming and assisting patients at the front desk
- Managing referrals, appointments and correspondence
- Processing data and maintaining accurate records
- Supporting clinicians and the broader administration team
- Ensuring confidentiality and compliance with NSW Health procedures
The role offers a balance of patient-facing and office-based duties, providing variety and valuable experience in a busy hospital setting.
Typical Work Schedule
8:00 am – 4:30 pm Occasional 7:00 am or 8:30 am starts as part of a rotating roster

Previous administration experience is desirable, though comprehensive training and support will be provided.
