We’re looking for a talented and ambitious Sous Chef to join our growing culinary team at Murrayshall Country Estate, set within 365 acres of stunning Perthshire countryside. This luxury four-star country estate features a newly renovated restaurant and a state-of-the-art kitchen.

As Sous Chef, you’ll work closely with our Head Chef to help lead the kitchen team, deliver exceptional food and maintain the high standards our guests expect across restaurant, events and hospitality operations. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who brings energy, creativity and strong kitchen organisation to every service.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting the Head Chef with menu development and food innovation
  • Leading the kitchen during service and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
  • Preparing and delivering high-quality dishes with consistency and flair
  • Training, mentoring and motivating junior kitchen team members
  • Maintaining excellent food hygiene and safety standards
  • Managing stock control, ordering and minimising wastage
  • Working collaboratively to create exceptional guest dining experiences
  • Helping drive kitchen performance while maintaining a positive team culture
