As a quality and development coordinator, you'll turn creative concepts into production-ready garments, making sure every product is technically accurate, thoroughly tested, delivered on time and made to the quality our clients expect. With a natural eye for garment quality and detail, you'll recognise potential problems early and take a practical approach to resolving them. The role suits someone who enjoys bringing structure to busy projects, asking the right questions and keeping samples, approvals and deadlines moving. You'll fit right in if:
- Notice the details that affect garment fit, construction and quality.
- Enjoy coordinating several projects and priorities at once.
- Build positive and professional working relationships.
- Take responsibility for resolving queries and completing actions.
- Are always looking for better ways of working and preventing repeat issues

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Supply Chain team turns client requirements and approved designs into high-quality, commercially viable garments. The team coordinates product development, suppliers, testing, quality and production to ensure every product is ready for a successful launch and continued supply.
Role overview
As Garment Quality & Development Coordinator, you'll coordinate the technical development and quality requirements of allocated garments from initial specification through to production. The role brings together technical information, sampling, fit reviews, product testing and quality control, ensuring requirements are clearly communicated and actions are followed through to completion. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, including Design, Demand Planning, overseas colleagues and suppliers, you'll build strong working relationships and use clear technical guidance to influence and support supplier development. By maintaining critical paths, monitoring production progress and identifying risks early, you'll help keep projects on track while protecting product quality, delivery and the overall client experience.
What you'll be doing
Keep garment development accurate and on track, creating clear technical files and coordinating samples, lab dips, fit reviews, approvals and supplier feedback.
- Protect product quality throughout development and production, reviewing garments, coordinating testing and quality checks, and ensuring inspection findings are acted upon.
- Own technical and quality queries through to resolution, communicating clearly with suppliers and internal teams, tracking corrective actions and helping to prevent repeat issues.
- Maintain momentum across allocated projects, managing critical paths, monitoring production milestones and highlighting risks or delays early enough for action to be taken.
- Support the successful delivery of client requirements, coordinating special-measure orders, completing product risk assessments and assisting with supplier pricing and costing queries.
We look forward to giving all candidates the opportunity to apply and to welcome successful applicants into our fast paced, ever growing Murray team.
