Murray Recruitment are recruiting an Air Conditioning Engineer for our client based in Irvine.
Role Overview
This is a site-based role within a high-profile pharmaceutical environment, responsible for the planned and reactive maintenance of air conditioning and HVAC systems. The successful candidate will ensure systems operate efficiently and safely, delivering high standards of service while adhering to strict compliance, health & safety, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs) on air conditioning systems
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective fault finding and repairs
- Complete remedial and reactive maintenance works as required
- Service and maintain VRV/VRF and split air conditioning systems
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with site procedures
- Accurately complete documentation and service records
- Liaise with site management and stakeholders to minimise disruption to operations
- Maintain compliance with health & safety regulations and statutory requirements
Skills & Experience
- F-Gas Category 1 certification
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent)
- Proven experience working as an Air Conditioning Engineer
- Strong experience in PPMs, remedial works, and fault finding
- Experience working on commercial HVAC systems including VRV/VRF
- Experience within a static or regulated site environment advantageous
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
