Murray Recruitment are recruiting a Billing Supervisor for our client based in Lanarkshire.
Role Overview
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Billing Supervisor to join a leading Lanarkshire-based Support Services company on a permanent basis. With the shared service centre continuing to grow, this role offers the chance to combine day-to-day billing responsibilities with team support, mentoring and process improvement. Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Manager, the successful candidate will take ownership of billing and sales ledger activities while providing guidance to a small team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys leading by example, improving processes and supporting a business through growth and change.
Key Responsibilities
- Take a hands-on role in the day-to-day billing function.
- Support, mentor and guide a small billing team.
- Raise invoices for goods and services supplied to customers.
- Co-ordinate monthly billing procedures with Operations, ensuring deadlines are achieved.
- Maintain control of sales ledger activity and support improvements to billing processes and procedures.
- Compile and review a full overview of billing activity.
- Resolve internal and external billing queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Work closely with Credit Control to ensure an efficient and seamless service.
- Build strong relationships across the business to support communication and service delivery.
- Attend departmental meetings and contribute to team development and continuous improvement.
- Assist senior management with reporting, process changes and additional duties as required.
