Murray Recruitment are recruiting a Technical Proposals Coordinator for our client based in Hillington, Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and technically minded individual to join a growing engineering business supporting industrial and educational sector clients across the UK.

Role Overview

This is a full-time, office-based role supporting the Service and LEV divisions through the coordination of technical reports, quotations, parts sourcing, and client documentation. Working closely with engineers and operational teams, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring post-service outputs are completed accurately and issued efficiently. The role would particularly suit someone from a mechanical, engineering, manufacturing, HVAC, facilities management, or industrial service background looking to move into a technical coordination position while utilising their existing technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compile and complete Service and LEV reports from engineer submissions
  • Review engineer notes, photographs, and inspection data to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare quotations for remedial and follow-on works, including labour and parts requirements
  • Identify and source mechanical and technical components from suppliers
  • Liaise with suppliers to obtain pricing, specifications, and lead times
  • Develop and maintain a structured parts database to support engineering teams
  • Issue complete client documentation packs including reports and quotations
  • Coordinate workflow from engineer site visits through to final client submission
  • Support the Operations Manager and LEV team with technical queries and ongoing job progression
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and system uploads within agreed timescales
