This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales professional from an electrical distribution background to join a well-established and growing branch. Overview
Working within a busy and successful branch, the Electrical Sales Executive will be responsible for managing customer enquiries, preparing quotations and delivering technical product solutions to an established customer base. This is a desk-based role requiring strong electrical product knowledge, commercial awareness and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
The successful candidate will play a key role in driving branch sales growth through effective account management, proactive quotation follow-up and excellent customer service, ensuring customers receive the right solutions to meet their requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships with an existing portfolio of customers.
- Respond to customer enquiries via telephone and email in a professional and timely manner.
- Prepare accurate and competitive quotations for electrical products and solutions.
- Proactively follow up quotations to maximise conversion rates and secure sales opportunities.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to identify suitable products and provide effective solutions.
- Provide technical product advice and support to customers.
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms in line with company guidelines.
- Process sales orders and ensure a seamless customer experience from enquiry through to delivery.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to source products and resolve technical queries.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales and strengthen existing customer relationships.
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity using internal systems.
- Contribute to the continued growth and success of the branch.

- Previous experience within an electrical wholesale or electrical distribution environment is essential.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical distribution products and applications.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proven experience in preparing quotations, negotiating sales and converting opportunities into orders.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

- Good IT skills with experience using sales, quotation or ERP systems.
