Due to continued growth, our client who are a leading supplier and distributor serving the Construction, Engineering and Building sectors are currently recruiting for an experienced Account Manager to join their vibrant and growing team on a full time permanent basis.
You will be responsible for dealing with clients providing quotations and processing orders in a timely manner, keeping customers up to date with progress of deliveries.
Key responsibilities:
- Building client relationships and having a proactive approach to existing customers within your territory.
- Order processing and ensuring delivery in a speedy manner.
- Compiling, sending and chasing quotes.
- Negotiating costs and closing the business.
- Processing orders onto the system.
- Sourcing materials from suppliers.
- Dealing with incoming general customer enquiries.
- Processing credits for orders.
- General customer service and administration.
Essential requirements:
- Previous experience within a similar role dealing with the construction, trades or ideally an engineering companies.
- Able to demonstrate a strong focus on customer care with excellent communication skills.
- Strong administration skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to work as part of a team and own initiative.
Offering:
- Salary up to 35k per annum
- Hours working over 2 shifts 8.30am – 5pm / 9am – 5.30pm (Shift agreed with successful candidate).
- Holidays 25 days plus 8 statutory holidays.
