The Role

As a European Service Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality service, maintenance and support across a variety of customer sites throughout EMEA. This is a hands-on role combining technical expertise with customer interaction and travel.

  • Carrying out maintenance, fault finding and repairs across CCTV, access control and intruder systems
  • Supporting small installation works where required
  • Providing a professional, client-facing service experience on site
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues efficiently and effectively
  • Collaborating with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Managing your own travel arrangements and workload across multiple locations
  • Keeping accurate and up-to-date service records and documentation
  • Submitting timesheets and expenses in a timely manner

About You

You’ll be a technically strong and self-motivated engineer with a passion for delivering excellent service. You enjoy working both independently and as part of a wider team, and you’re confident building relationships with clients across different environments. We’re looking for someone who has:

  • A recognised industry qualification (e.g. NVQ) or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the fire and security industry
  • Proven experience working with systems such as CCTV, access control and intruder alarms
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The ability to problem solve calmly and professionally under pressure
  • Experience working in client-facing roles with a professional and presentable approach
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Confidence using IT systems and adapting to new technologies

Additional requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to travel across EMEA
