Murray McIntosh are currently seeking a Naval Combat Systems Engineer to work for a client of ours on a permanent basis. In this role, you will be working predominantly remotely but visiting a mixture of sites located in Portsmouth, Plymouth, Bristol & Frome a few times per quarter. This role would suit an ex Petty Officer / Chief Petty Officer / Royal Navy Weapon Engineer.
Experience & responsibilities:
- NSIPS Service Delivery.
- Conducting of Ship/Submarine combat system audits.
- NSIPS related bid and enquiry work.
- Surface ship experience & ideally served on T45 or QEC platforms.
- Comprehensive working knowledge of surface ship combat systems.
- Previous experience of working on Type 45 Destroyer ships or similar is essential.
- Working knowledge of surface ship and/or submarine combat systems.
- Ability to understand and manage interface data in large quantities.
- Wider capability area technical project work for naval system related activities.
- Capability Area TAF and enquiry work.
- Ability to obtain SC clearance.
This role can also be offered on a long term contract basis, rate negotiable but inside IR35.
