We are seeking a highly experienced and enthusiastic Senior Systems Engineer to take the lead on a major project. In this senior role, you will be responsible for the delivery of a complex system that involves specialist sensors, electronics, and signal processing firmware/software.

Responsibilities include:

  • System Design, implementation, integration and acceptance for Defence Communications Projects.
  • Technical leadership of multi-disciplinary engineering teams to ensure system designs achieve the operational performance requirements.
  • Conducting engineering design reviews with project teams and customers.
  • Contributing to business development efforts by identifying opportunities and preparing technical proposals.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in delivering complex system design, implementation, test, and integration in the defence (or highly regulated) domain.
  • Experience across the full system life cycle, including design, development, testing, integration, and acceptance.
  • Strong background in providing technical leadership within project teams and the business.
  • Ability to converse with multi-disciplinary teams (Hardware, software, Firmware, Mechanical) and provide valuable input.
  • Innovative and creative thinking to solve complex technical problems.
  • A BSc/BEng Degree in Engineering, Maths, or Science (or equivalent experience).
  • Sole UK National with the ability to attain DV or SC UK security clearance.
  • Full UK driving licence.
