Our client, a Tier 1 provider to the water industry, is currently looking to hire several MEICA Project Managers to support the growth of work starting with AMP8.

Current sites are still under discussion, but this will be a hybrid role until construction begins and sites are finalized, in the southern region.

What you\’ll be doing:

  • Managing your team and coordinating with other groups, overseeing all project-related activities.
  • Building positive relationships with the supply chain and subcontractors.
  • Managing health and safety standards, reporting, and escalation procedures.
  • Reporting progress and activities to line management and during monthly meetings.
  • Delivering work packages in line with project schedules, quality standards, and budgets.
  • Exceeding MEICA and client expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Achieving relevant KPIs for Project Managers and MEICA teams.
  • Leading safety, production, and quality meetings.
  • Maintaining high-quality records efficiently within the team.
  • Overseeing daily operations to ensure safety, timeliness, and budget adherence.
  • Developing cost forecasts and keeping schemes within budget.
  • Contributing to future tenders and work-winning activities.
  • Ensuring client specifications are met by reviewing progress and liaising with teams.
  • Promoting health and safety on all projects and managing day-to-day issues.

What you\’ll need:

  • Excellent communication skills for managing MEICA teams, third parties, and clients.
  • Strong organizational and leadership qualities, with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to work well in teams and independently.
  • Good time management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work under pressure in busy environments.
  • A proactive, supportive attitude and attention to detail.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent (Foundation degree, HND, HNC).
  • Over 10 years experience managing multiple projects of varying complexity and value.
  • Membership of APM or equivalent, or relevant experience.
  • SMSTS / SSSTS qualification.
  • CSCS card.
  • First Aid qualification (optional).
  • 5-day SMSTS course.
