Mechanical Engineer (Manchester)

A leading engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their expanding team in either the Northwest or Leeds . The successful candidate will have experience delivering multi-discipline design projects within the Water sector , with additional experience in sectors such as Industrial, Chemical, Power, or Nuclear considered an advantage.

Applicants should ideally be Chartered Engineers (CEng) and have a minimum of 7 years' experience in an engineering design environment.

You will be responsible for developing technical design deliverables including 3D models, GA drawings, piping isometrics, schedules, data sheets, and reports -creating innovative solutions tailored to client needs.

This role will also involve regular client interaction, so strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain professional relationships and a forward-looking pipeline are essential.

On offer is

• Contract – 6 months rolling (5 years worth of work)
• Rate – £50 – £60 per hour
• Location – Based out of Chester, Manchester or Leeds 2/3 days per week
