The role is well‑suited to experienced originators from bridging, development finance or alternative lending backgrounds who are comfortable working on non‑standard transactions and bespoke capital solutions. Key Responsibilities

    • Originate new real estate debt opportunities across bridging, development and short‑term alternative finance markets.
    • Build and maintain senior relationships with property developers, sponsors, advisers, brokers and other key intermediaries.
    • Act as relationship lead for key clients, driving repeat business and long‑term partnerships.
    • Identify opportunities requiring more complex structuring, higher leverage or transitional solutions aligned to the platform’s risk appetite.
  • Deal Structuring & Execution
    • Structure and execute bespoke debt solutions, including senior, whole‑loan and higher‑leverage transactions.
    • Lead commercial negotiations on pricing, structure, security and terms.
    • Work closely with Credit, Risk, Legal and Portfolio teams to progress transactions efficiently from mandate through to completion.
    • Present transactions clearly and commercially to internal approval forums where required.
  • Team Leadership & Oversight
    • Provide guidance and support to junior originators and execution staff.
    • Support the development of origination strategy, underwriting standards and execution discipline.
    • Oversee live deal flow to ensure quality, pace and appropriate risk management.

    • Represent the business within the development finance and alternative lending market.
    • Support wider business development and origination initiatives.
    • Ensure smooth handover of completed transactions into portfolio management.
    • Share market insight and client intelligence with senior leadership to inform lending strategy.
Experience & Profile
  • Proven origination experience within bridging finance, development finance or alternative real estate lending.
  • Track record of originating and closing complex or non‑standard real estate debt transactions.
  • Strong network across UK developers, sponsors, advisers and intermediary channels.
