Responsibilities:
- Service, maintain and repair pump and diesel equipment on customer sites and in the workshop.
- Carry out fault-finding, diagnostics and preventative maintenance.
- Inspect equipment returning from hire and document damage or recurring faults.
- Work to manufacturer specifications and H&S requirements (including PPE).
- Complete job reports and communicate effectively with internal teams.
- Participate in a call-out rota (with standby allowance and overtime).
Experience & skills required:
- NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent hands-on experience).
- Background working with diesel engines, pumps, plant or mechanical equipment.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working on customer or construction sites.
- Full UK driving licence (max 6 points).
- Flexible, reliable, and comfortable working outdoors in all weather.
