Key Responsibilities
- Develop civil design solutions for water and wastewater networks, pumping stations, treatment works, and associated infrastructure.
- Prepare drawings, models, specifications, and design documentation using CAD / BIM tools.
- Carry out engineering calculations, hydraulic assessments, and feasibility studies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including process, mechanical, and electrical engineers.
- Ensure designs meet health, safety, sustainability, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical input during project delivery and support site teams when required.
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure successful project outcomes.
Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline).
- Chartered or working towards professional status (ICE or equivalent).
- Experience in the UK water sector (clean water, wastewater, or drainage).
- Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, or similar).
- Strong understanding of UK water industry standards and regulations.
