The role - what you'll be doing

As Project Manager, you'll be responsible for end-to-end delivery of projects across a live AMP8 framework.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver clean water infrastructure projects across London & Thames Valley
  • Lead programme targets, budgets and delivery milestones
  • Work in close partnership with the Programme Manager and site supervision teams
  • Coordinate planners, surveyors, subcontractors and supply-chain partners
  • Develop and maintain detailed project programmes, identifying risks and dependencies
  • Ensure quality, safety and environmental standards are met across all activities
  • Drive strong health & safety performance on site
  • Manage stakeholder engagement, including client liaison with Thames Water
  • Proactively resolve technical, operational and delivery challenges

Required experience & skills

You'll need:

  • Proven Project Manager experience within the UK water sector (essential)
  • Background in clean water, network or utilities infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of programme management, cost control and risk management
  • Experience managing subcontractors and multi-disciplinary delivery teams
  • Confident client-facing and stakeholder management skills
  • Solid record of delivering projects safely, on time and within budget
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable experience

  • AMP programme experience (AMP7 / AMP8)
  • Demand management, network or metering projects
  • Framework delivery within regulated utilities
