Murray Mc Intosh are currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to work for a client of ours on a contract basis as detailed below:
Responsibilities
- Produce new and update existing designs for applications using Auto CAD & Solid Edge.
- Create detailed component and assembly drawings
- Create and maintain accurate documentation including BOM's, Proposals, Manuals and Maintenance instructions for designs.
- Interpret customer specifications and design standards
- Carry out DFMEA as required
- Background
- Previous experience of designing transmission, gears, powertrain or similar would be advantageous
- Candidates must be eligible for SC clearance
- Candidates are required to be British citizens
- Marine or Defence industry experience advantageous
