Murray McIntosh are currently seeking a Hardware Design Engineer to start work for a key client of ours, as detailed below:
Responsibilities & required experience:
- Design, development, and evaluation of electronic hardware assemblies
- Producing and reviewing electronic schematics and PCB layouts
- Debugging electronic hardware and supporting board bring-up
- Investigating and resolving hardware design issues and defects
- Conducting EMC / EMI compliance testing and resolving related issues
- Creating and reviewing production and technical documentation
- Supporting customer issue resolution in collaboration with firmware and technical support teams
- Experience using CAD tools (Altium, ORCAD)
- Design-for-manufacture (DFM) understanding
- Experience working with defect tracking tools (e.g. JIRA)
