Murray McIntosh are currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to work for a client of ours on a contract basis as detailed below:
Responsibilities:
- Produce new and update existing designs for applications using AutoCAD & SolidEdge.
- Create detailed component and assembly drawings.
- Create and maintain accurate documentation including BOM's, Proposals, Manuals and Maintenance instructions for designs.
- Interpret customer specifications and design standards.
- Carry out DFMEA as required.
Background:
- Previous experience of designing transmission, gears, powertrain or similar would be advantageous.
- Candidates must be eligible for SC clearance.
- Candidates are required to be British citizens.
- Marine or Defence industry experience advantageous.
