Responsibilities:

  • Service, maintain and repair pump and diesel equipment on customer sites and in the workshop.
  • Carry out fault-finding, diagnostics and preventative maintenance.
  • Inspect equipment returning from hire and document damage or recurring faults.
  • Work to manufacturer specifications and H&S requirements (including PPE).
  • Complete job reports and communicate effectively with internal teams.
  • Participate in a call-out rota (with standby allowance and overtime).

Experience & skills required:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent hands-on experience).
  • Background working with diesel engines, pumps, plant or mechanical equipment.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working on customer or construction sites.
  • Full UK driving licence (max 6 points).
  • Flexible, reliable, and comfortable working outdoors in all weather.
