A leading UK civil engineering contractor is looking to appoint a Site Engineer to support delivery across a portfolio of water and infrastructure projects. This role will suit a Site Engineer with experience in civil engineering or water sector projects who is looking for stability, technical variety and progression within a well-established organisation.

The role: You will provide site engineering support across multiple schemes, ensuring works are delivered safely, accurately and in line with design requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Setting out works in accordance with contract drawings and establishing survey control
  • Carrying out regular checks to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Producing site documentation including ITPs, task briefings, site diaries and allocation sheets
  • Supporting planning with short-term programmes and 2-week lookaheads
  • Resolving technical queries and site-based issues
